The much awaited Body Hugger MK2!!

I know, I know, I know, you can stop the applause now! I have FINALLY got it right. Here are a few pics of me (very scary - Kate's a much better model than me!), sporting the lastest HabbyClic Body Hugger. I have made it out of the Green with yellow and pink spot fabric so you can see what it's like made up. You will also notice that it sits just fine on cuddly bodies (like mine). I deliberately filled the main pockets with 2 lenses and a sunglasses case (I don't own a light meter), just to show it in action.

Please feel free to email me with any questions about its size/fit.....or anything else!

Prices are on the post below this one!

Don't ask me what this pose is?!?!?

Velcro

I have had a couple of customers interested in Velcro for the flap closures instead of the clip or button and loop. At this early stage (when I am making lens pouches to order) I can offer either method of closing the flaps (as well as the keeper on the lens hood strap). Just let me know which you would prefer.

Please keep a watch out for the upgraded design of the body hugger! COMING SOON!

Body Hugger Close Ups

I have had a few enquiries about the inside of the Body Hugger. So here are a couple of pics. I have put my old lenses (sorry girls, it's all I have) in the pockets to give you an idea of the fit. The lens in the big pocket is a Canon 90 - 300mm, and the smaller pocket has a Canon 28 - 80mm. I don't have a light meter, but this goes in the end pocket - hence the retractable cord clip.

I hope this helps. Please email me with any other specific questions - I don't bite :o)

Please note that this pouch may change slightly, ie edge binding, but the size will stay the same. I will post an updates pic when it happens.

HabbyClic Body Hugger

Here it is! Thank you to those of you patiently waiting for it to be completed!.....(drum roll please).....The HabbyClic Body Hugger Lens Pouch.

Made with the same pouch dimensions as the Hip Hugger, this sports a large lens pocket, a small lens pocket, light meter pocket with retractable cord clip, lens hood strap, 2 smaller pockets with zipper, as well as a larger pocket in the front strap. Again, it is made from neoprene with a fabric overlay, with the diagonal body strap padded with neoprene as well, for super comfort. The highly adjustable strap will suit all sizes.

By the way, this is my husband Rod who kindly modelled the Body Hugger (we've had MANY jokes about body hugging, these last few days!). He is 6 foot tall and has a 38 inch waist, so you could see what it looked like on someone 'slightly' bigger than Kate - not that that's hard! And you also get to see the lovely place we live in, in the background!

Please feel free to email me with any questions. Price can be found on the 'Beyond' forum for those of you on there, or by emailing me. Postage costs are the same as the Hip Hugger.

F.Y.I.

Just to clarify folks.....The Hip Hugger Lens Pouch is made from Black Wetsuit Grade Neoprene. The fabric samples below are not neoprene, as they are used as an overlay on the front of the pouch.

Also, when sending an order - please specify your hip measurement so that I can make sure that there is enough webbing on the pouch (don't be shy - I just want it to fit really well). I will also need to know which fabric you prefer - I only have limited suplies of each one, as I am wanting them to stay limited editions, rather than looking mass produced! I will update the options that I have in stock as need be.

AND - Stay tuned for my second pouch in the HabbyClic range - the Body Hugger Lens Pouch.

Kate's New Lens Pouch

After numerous (I think that we were up to number 4!) attempts, I finally got Kate's lens pouch sorted out. With just the right amount of neoprene (wetsuit material), to provide stretch and shock absorption for the actual lens pocket, and just enough funky fabric to make Kate feel like she was wearing a fashion accessory rather than a work bag, we have the final product!!!!

I am most pleased that she'll stop whinging about taking her backpack on and off all the time to change lenses, and getting choked by her light meter. But I am even more impressed that we manged to achieve this goal with 2000kms between us!

What friends will do for eachother!!!
This is one project that has had a great outcome and bought us even closer together. Thanks Kate, for having enough faith in my ability and patience as a designer (and manufacturer) to do this for you. XXOO
Here are a few pics of Kate sporting her new pouch (obviously taken by her hubby, Steve).

Brand New

Well Kate, I have done it...........Started my new HabbyChic Blog. I am hoping that this will be a start of great things in the little-old-world of HabbyChic. I will explain again to all of you un-HabbyChic'd, the meaning of my name........
Habby - Habedashery -the buttons, lace, ribbon, piping etc that I add to my creations to make them unique.
Chic - pronounced "shique" - sophisticated, suave, high class, high quality.

So - in my spare time (you can stop laughing now!!), I love to sew bags of many descriptions out of anything from brandspankingnew fabrics and trims, to collected vintage woven placemats, and everything in between.

Stay tuned for some pics of my creations that have already found new homes.
